For me, the most memorable school event was the field trip to Nikko Edomura. Going with my entire class made it a truly special experience. It was my first time authentically experiencing traditional Japanese culture. We watched samurai performances and ninja shows, and toured traditional buildings from the Edo period. It felt just like traveling back in time. I also had a wonderful time walking around and taking photos with my classmates. Through this field trip, my understanding of Japanese history and culture deepened, and it became one of my most cherished memories in Japan.
Yes, I have. Before coming to Japan, I was a bit hesitant to speak in front of people. However, while living in Japan, through my part-time job and school life, I gradually became able to express my opinions clearly. I also developed a stronger awareness of the importance of punctuality and taking responsibility. I feel much more confident in myself now than before.
Studying abroad in Japan brings both fun times and hard times. However, that experience will undoubtedly become your strength. You might feel confused at first due to language and cultural differences, but please challenge yourself without giving up. The more effort you put in, the more you will feel your own growth. Take courage and step forward!
