What class or activity helped you the most in your journey to work in Japan? Please tell us the reason.
The class that helped me the most during my job-hunting process was the business manners course. Through these classes, I learned a lot about professional conduct, including interview etiquette, workplace communication, and business email writing. Before joining this school, I had very little knowledge in these areas. The skills I gained were extremely practical and very useful throughout my job-hunting activities.
How did your image of working in Japan change after experiencing the actual job hunting process?
Before experiencing the actual job-hunting process, I imagined job hunting in Japan to be very complicated and difficult. However, after going through the actual job hunting, I would say my image changed significantly. By preparing resumes and communicating directly with teachers and professionals, I realised that many challenges can be overcome through learning, experience and effort. With the support and guidance from this school, I was able to learn everything in a more systematic way. As a result, I became mentally stronger, more confident in trying new things, and began to see clearer paths for my future in Japan.
Message to those with a dream of “I want to work in Japan”
If you are considering studying in Japan, my advice is simply to come. I am not saying that you cannot study in your home country, but studying in Japan allows you to become fluent in Japanese a lot faster. One important point to consider is whether you want to work in Japan or continue on to further studies, as this will strongly influence the type of language school you should join. Finally, be prepared for challenges. Expect setbacks, including interview failures, and remember that the concept of lifelong learning always applies.
