Making mistakes is part of learning.
I think you should have more confidence
and speak as much as you can.

I never gave up on learning kanji readings and reading comprehension grammar. Kanji was extremely difficult, and I often forgot them no matter how many times I memorized them. Grammar was confusing at times, too. However, I practiced over and over by watching anime, reading manga, and short stories. I genuinely love Japanese, so even when it was tough, I never wanted to quit.
I would say, "Don't be afraid of making mistakes." Before starting school, I overthought things, believing I had to speak fluently. But making mistakes is just part of the learning process. Have more confidence and speak up much more. It's totally fine even if it's not perfect.
If you want to study in Japan, believe in your dream. There might be hard times, like language barriers or homesickness, but those experiences will surely make you stronger. If you truly love Japan and the Japanese language, that passion will give you strength. Keep moving forward step by step without giving up. Your efforts will definitely connect to your future.
