Linguage frequently posts photos and videos of its classes on SNS which enabled me to get a glimpse of the school’s lecture style. After thorough research, I decided to enroll in the school because of its focus on business Japanese and its diverse student population.
The curriculum of Linguage is holistic wherein they make sure to cover reading, listening, speaking, and writing. I really appreciate how they focus on the practical aspects of Japanese learning by encouraging communication with classmates and short essay writing. The school definitely prepared me to various business situations from its business conversation class, e-mail writing class, and so on.
As Linguage is an excellent school, it attracts students from all over the world who are passionate about Japanese learning and working in Japan. I was able to be exposed to people from various cultures and backgrounds and was positively influenced by their dedication to improve in the Japanese language.
The job hunting support the school provides is very good. The teachers are all very kind and willing to take the extra mile to prepare you for working in Japan. They can give advice to your career plans in Japan, revise Japanese resumes, and help you practice for Japanese interviews. The school also has connections and contacts with Japanese companies and they can help introduce you to job opportunities. The teachers are very approachable and you can freely ask for a career counseling session whenever you need one. They also conduct frequent one on one checkups on all its students job hunting status and life in Japan to ensure that all its students are on track with achieving their individual goals.
Working in a foreign country, especially in a language different from your mother tongue is not an easy act. Being comfortable with the Japanese language is of course very important, but what matters the most is one’s strong love for Japan and its culture. A strong passion and constant desire to work and live in Japan will drive you to take on any challenges ahead and will energize you to continue learning Japanese, about Japan, and its people.
