At first, I didn’t have a part-time job because I was focused on my studies to successfully secure a job. However, after six months, I started working as an English teacher at a kindergarten. Looking back, I regret not starting earlier because I underestimated how much a part-time job helps with getting used to speaking with native speakers and improving overall Japanese skills. So, my advice is—don’t overlook the value of a part-time job. It’s a great way to boost your language proficiency and gain real-world experience.
If I had to highlight the key strengths of Linguage Japanese School, I would say its small size and business-oriented approach. The school has only four groups, each with around 15 students. In my opinion, this creates a close-knit environment where students can build strong, trusting relationships with both classmates and teachers. As for the Business Japanese lessons, they were incredibly helpful during my job search. We practiced interview etiquette multiple times, which made me feel much more confident during actual job interviews.
It’s essential to have a clear reason for wanting to study in Japan. It could be anything—whether you want to work here, immerse yourself in Japanese culture, or experience the lifestyle firsthand. Whatever your goal is, understanding it will help you stay motivated and make the most of your time here. If you can define your purpose, you’re ready to begin your journey in Japan!.
